Happy Tuesday! Our weekend hike to Hanging Lake and Spouting Rock was a great wintery adventure... It's only about a mile long, with a climb of 1000 feet...good for a 4-year-old. The hike is up a canyon with some steep, slightly scary drop-offs at the end. The beautiful, clear lake with its waterfall is well worth the effort any time of year.
Thanks for visiting Mia and Arctic Mum! MODsquad, it's off the highway in Glenwood Canyon, about 45 minutes west of here. You MUST go see it sometime. Your family would LOVE it. I recommend going at an off time, as it can be very crowded on Summer (or other) weekends. Let me know if you want even more specifics!
I live in the mountains of Colorado with my husband and my eight-year-old son. Here I put anything that inspires me, from design to art to what I see outside my door. Thanks for visiting.
I'd be flattered if you'd like to use any content from this blog. Please let me know when you do, credit Postcards from Colorado, and link back to this site. Thanks so much.

Hi, seems we live in quite the same weather conditions..more sun where you are, though. I like your blog.
