Pretty Nantucket Home
Hello! My weekend away was in Boston, where I attended a beautiful memorial service for my sister's father-in-law. I was very happy to be there to honor a good man and spend time with my sister, her husband and his family. Another of my sisters, my father and his wife were there, too, so I saw lots of my people! I didn't have a chance to visit the ocean this time, but I dreamed of it as I looked at this Nantucket beauty in New England Home, which I bought to browse during the trip...There's something about a New England beach home... the shingles, the soft light, the history (the antiques!), the easy life... that you have to love. This one is no exception. Read more about it here.

Absolutely stunning. I love all the tiny details.
I agree, there is something special about it. Beautiful and sophisticated. Enjoy your stay :)
what a bright place..I love the interiors' potential:)
it's great you had a good time with your family:)
take care!
This home is really light and airy, not to mention beautiful. What window treatments would go well a New England style home? I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
What a stunning living space! Hope you are having a perfect weekend! Kellie xx
This place is truly perfect, could bring my toothbrush and just move right in!
Liza, what a beautiful home. And the large images look so good on your blog.
I particulary like the antique Swedish sideboard in the last image. I used to import Swedish antiques a few years ago. I might get back to it one day.
Sorry I have been such a lousy blog friend this summer -- but now I am back for real and you can't get rid of me! (:
