This morning I had breakfast and a browse at our local bookstore. What a treat. I happened to pick up what turned out to be the best children's picture book I've found in a while: I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen...
The sweet, funny illustrations drew me in, but the story -- dryly, darkly hilarious -- was the kicker. It's home with us now, the newest addition to the library. Today I've found the New York Times book review, Klassen's tumblr, and a fun interview with him here.
