Vail Ski Day
We skied one last day today, Vail's closing day. It was a glorious, Colorado blue sky day and we had a blast. Eddie even hammed it up (completely out of character!).

Nathalie Derouet
Did you see the work of Nathalie Derouet on Bloesem? Oh my, it's lovely. Part of me just wants to frame and display these images...

Hadley Hutton
I received an e-mail from Hadley Hutton today showing her new Spring work. I especially love these two...

I've been in a white mood today. Soft, comforting, calming white...

Ecojot
I was in the toy store yesterday and spotted an Ecojot sketchbook.
Looking at it was great, holding it was better, having it is best! Besides being so sweet and hip, the paper is a beautiful quality and the cover is a thick, gorgeous, pressed cardboard. It's very satisfying to hold (though the one I have may be for kids, I bought it for myself, of course!).

In addition to being of 100% post-consumer material, from Ecojot's website:

You probably already know of Ecojot, but in case you haven't heard... this Canadian brother and sister team, Mark and Carolyn Gavin, have created a full range of 100% recycled paper goods including agendas, calendars, journals, sketchbooks, cards, wrapping paper, etc.

In addition to being of 100% post-consumer material, from Ecojot's website:". We use acid-free, processed chlorine free paper & board.
. All our inks & glues are vegetable based, therefore bio-degradable.
. No new trees are used to make our paper & the paper mill is powered by biogas harnessed from a nearby landfill.
. All our protective packaging is corn-based. Furthermore, we try and use as much locally made raw material as possible." Perfect! Here's where to shop for Ecojot.

Also, Carolyn, Ecojot's talented designer, has a blog.

Last Ski Day
We've probably had our last ski day for the year. Beaver Creek closed yesterday. We were there and thoroughly enjoyed the unusual fog, the fresh snow...

and the cookie.

Adorable, Stylish Home (and Family)
Oh, I really like this one...
He's an interior designer and she's an artist. I do wish I knew more. Their home is perfect, if you ask me...
