on 1st Dibs...The sofa, lamp and sheep are at the NYDC, where 1st Dibs dealers have showrooms on the 10th floor. I'd love to visit. The chairs are from this week's new listings. The sheep's pretty fun, huh? Happy Wednesday!

I Think I Might Be Ready

Happy Monday. Today I feel almost ready for Fall! My baby hit first grade this morning with a big smile, which helped a lot. So I find myself excited by interior spaces again, not just the great outdoors. This one definitely caught my eye-- a fine modernist collection in a cozy, Mediterranean-style, historically-landmarked apartment...Fresh, cool and comforting all at the same time. It is the apartment of photographer and modernist collector John Coolidge, featured in last week's NY Times. Read more about it here.

I am not ready for the Summer to be over.School starts next week. Ugh. I could definitely go back to the beach, and so could Eddie. How about you?

My Baby and I Were at the Beach

Hi all. I'm so sorry for the lack of posts!We've had an almost two-week vacation with family on the East Coast. We spent most of the visit in Newport, RI, which we love. We're home now. I hope you have the happiest of weekends. Enjoy these last days of Summer break!

Happy Friday! I loved Minnie Mortimer's home in Matchbook a while back, and now it's featured in Vogue. I love it as much today! The colors, the light, the art, the Saarinens, the zillions of books, her CLOSET... that dress! All of it. Love. I hope you have a beautiful, colorful weekend!
