Those are great, Nathan. Thank you for the links. I especially like Alan Kitchen's. I think it's the realism in the Trove paper that disturbs me. Birds, squirrels, rats... definitely shouldn't come close to people, especially in large groups.
i think it is beautiful. i have a love?hate relationship wi th birds and yes because of that movie i was eleven and sprayned my ankle on a skying trip so they left me upstairs with the tv on on the only chanel that worked while my friends and there parents went night time skiing- I Was never the same:)

Oh my gosh! What an awful (and great) story! I will never watch that movie again! Or Willard!
