Beautiful Weekend

I hope you have a beautiful weekend! I've been looking at artist Nicole Cohen's sumptuous New York home, as featured in the new Rue (page 100) and on her blog sketch42...She put it together herself with help and advice from her adoring blog community. And much of the art work is her own. Ahhh, to have that talent!
Thank you so much for visiting me here this week. And, as always, thank you for your kind comments. See you next week!
I'm crediting the amazing Lil Bee for leading me to sketch42 and Rue today!

i really love when nurseries have art that is not specifically "children's art". this house kind of blows my mind. she's an artist, you say? wow. i'm kind of always mystified that artists can afford spaces like this, i'm missing something! :)

Thanks for all your kind words everyone!

As to some of your questions and comments- the lamps are from restoration hardware,

The art in the nursery: the two abstracts were made by my daughter when she was 1 and the one of the dolls was the first painting I ever did as a child!!!

As to how I afford it since i'm an artist- well THANKFULLY my husband has a job. Or I would be starving;)

I posted all of my sources on my blog so you can check them there!
