A Little Break...

Hello to you! I've made a little decision here. Lately, I've been feeling a lot like Picasso's cubed woman you see here... A bit disjointed, I'd say. Too much going on for me. I need to be more together, calm, organized, present, focused. I'm aiming for the feeling I get when I look at these images...So, my lovely friends, I've realized that I need to take a little break from my blog baby. I will be visiting all of you, finding so much inspiration, keeping up on your news, and loving your creativity. And I think I will be back, probably after the new year (which will be here before we know it... really). And maybe I'll pop in a few times before then, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you for visiting me here. I have so loved and appreciated all of your support!

it is really hard to say two things at once, so i'll just say them one at a time: "nooooooooo!!" and "i can totally respect that, and i hope you have a wonderful, wonderful little rest from blogging. your totally inspiring posts will really be missed." see how calm that (second one) was? i'm a grown-up after all.

Dear Liza,
I think I know the feeling. I'm there as well, almost... So all I want to say is: have a restful break. I'll be waiting for your come back. Until then, lots of hugs and warm thoughts.

Oh how I would love it if the inside of my head would look so clean and calm and white. My head, however, will never look like that inside. I am a cluttered person. Sigh.
Good luck with your calm period! I'll miss you and look forward to the new year! ox

I totally know how you feel. This blog thing can be a bit of a ball and chain in a sense. I've been having to shut the computer off during the day so I don't feel obligated to it. Ug! That is the last thing I want to feel about our blog.

Anyways, beautiful and calming photos! Love them!

Enjoy your holiday season! Look forward to seeing you again in the new year!

Happy MODwishes!

Well, at least you don't feel like Edvard Munch's The Scream.

Oh no! You know, I've been thinking about you lately and realized I hadn't heard from you or stopped by your blog in a long time. I suppose a newborn can do that to you! Well, I hope you are relaxing and getting what you need. Would love to see you back here soon. Happy holidays, friend!

I am sooo with you! Picasso's lady could easily be my self-portrait now as well. Enjoy your break, but hurry back, because I just found you via The Lil Bee. One of my favs.

I lived in Alaska for the summer in 2002. I suggest planning your trip for early to mid September. The bears are full and lazy, almost ready to hibernate, so maybe not as aggressive at in the Spring when they are hungry. That is not my professional analysis. Just an uneducated guess. But I CAN tell you that the Northern Lights are best viewed in the winter months, but really start being active in September, so you can see bears and miss out on the major winter weather. It starts snowing by end of September and continues until early May.

Loved your list! : )
