Corner View: Spring

Happy Wednesday! This week's Corner View subject is Spring. Here, Spring is known as mud season. After the mountains close for skiing (in about two weeks) many people leave town. It's a quiet, relaxing time to be here, but for outdoorsy people it can be tough... it's difficult to go anywhere off the paved road without encountering mud (see my drive to Monday's hike). We begin to yearn for green and flowers, which won't be here for at least another month. Luckily, I truly love the Spring snow. I had a lovely hike in it the other day, so I wanted to show you...And, see my up-close view of this hawk? Oh, he was so loud, too!Happy me!

Liza, had I lived closer I would have so joined you for a walk. I love walking & exploring!

Back in Sweden our home was also surrounded by lovely birch trees. Beautiful images and the sun is shining on YOU! Cyber hug, Mon

Love these. Your Spring is quite different than ours. Love seeing the varied climates.

It might be mud season, but very pretty with the snow trying to linger on as the sun and spring take over. Cool photos! xo

Lovely snowy pics. Enjoy the last of it before the mud sets in. Just saw your side bar of things you would like - nice idea.

I think spring fever is in the air. I just think we might be hoping early. I don't think winter is quite done with us. We've got more snow in the forecast. Love the pics.
