Happy weekend to you! Continuing with a few more photos from our trip, these are from the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona...The logs are actually petrified wood. What a cool site this was!

Home Again

Hello?! I hope you are still there. We are just back from our trip... a beautiful, BIG, six-state, 2500-mile, two-week journey. Oh, we had such a good time! Thanks for your many kind comments on the last post - those were Colorado photos, plus one from Albuquerque (the old motel sign). Here are more from New Mexico, our first stop along the road...update: the two following shots are of hot air balloons at the balloon museum...We spent four very happy days with Grandma and Grandpa, then it was off to Arizona. I'll post photos from there next time!

Road Trip

I wasn't able to take photos specifically for today's corner view, so here are a few I snapped the other week in Vail. We have much more snow now, thankfully! The polar bear is by my quite talented friend Karl.

A Few From Sotheby's

Ahhh, these are a few of the pieces up for auction at Sotheby's next month...

in their 20th Century Design Sale. I'd love to see them in person. And then I'd love to have them. They are: a Tony Duquette "Marsan" chair, an Emile Galle two-tiered table, a group of Dimitri Omersa footstools, a George Nakashima sideboard, and a Handel "Rose Blossoms" table lamp.

Fun Ski Day

Saturday, Eddie went off with his team...and we enjoyed a powder day...
There's Doug in the trees in the last photo. (I don't know the skiers in the other photos).What fun we had! I hope you've had a beautiful weekend, and that the coming week is a happy one.

Olympic Break...and Lonny

Ummm... Apparently we've interrupted our regularly scheduled programming for the Winter Olympics! I'm hooked. And, I am late to the newest Lonny, but it's a really good one...If you haven't devoured it already, you should definitely take a look for yourself. I hope you are having a terrific week!
