We spent four very happy days with Grandma and Grandpa, then it was off to Arizona. I'll post photos from there next time!



I wasn't able to take photos specifically for today's corner view, so here are a few I snapped the other week in Vail. We have much more snow now, thankfully! The polar bear is by my quite talented friend Karl.



in their 20th Century Design Sale. I'd love to see them in person. And then I'd love to have them. They are: a Tony Duquette "Marsan" chair, an Emile Galle two-tiered table, a group of Dimitri Omersa footstools, a George Nakashima sideboard, and a Handel "Rose Blossoms" table lamp.

They were auctioned by Sotheby's in Londan today (here and here) to some fortunate buyers! I think I would have bought them all if I just had a wee bit more money...
