Sunday we woke up to a lot of fresh snow. Bliss... my version of the pretty shoe photo...It's still snowing today, and I couldn't resist going out for a snowshoe on the trail... And here we are tonight... Peaceful.
Thank you both! We're so excited about our snow, except for the roads! More is coming tonight... and nothing ever shuts down!! I love it at this time of year... by April, it gets old.
Thank goodness we came when we did, or we probably would have gotten stuck! Thank you again for having us - it was wonderful to see you all and spend some (brief) time together.
It pictures like those that make me miss and hate the snow all at the same time!!! I did have a question....what happened to the light up penguin? did he not make the cut this year...I loved seeing it in your yard.
I live in the mountains of Colorado with my husband and my eight-year-old son. Here I put anything that inspires me, from design to art to what I see outside my door. Thanks for visiting.
I'd be flattered if you'd like to use any content from this blog. Please let me know when you do, credit Postcards from Colorado, and link back to this site. Thanks so much.

Beautiful! I had to laugh when I clicked on your snow pictures.
We LITERALLY have about a 1/2 inch. I am giddy about it, but wow ... doesn't compare to these. ;)
peaceful and perfect...we get wimpy snow here and the whole town shuts down...schools are closed tomorrow in anticipation of 1-3 inches...crazy! xo
