Our Trip
Happy Monday to you! Last week we spent time with my father and his wife on Dewees Island in South Carolina. I've been visiting Dewees for eighteen years, ever since my parents moved there from New York. It's such a peaceful place and we had a relaxing (if not truly warm) week...We loved the many dolphins we saw this time -- these are playing near Fort Sumter...And the one evening ferry ride (also here) was truly lovely...Even the jaded shipmate took photos and said it doesn't get much better than that.

......& oh yes & thanks for the well wishes!
Wow, you are so lucky to have a place like this to visit regularly. It looks serene and beautiful. Despite being surrounded by water, a few of the photographs reminded me of a desert. You have a great way of capturing photos. I love the whole mood of the place.
Thanks very much LN and Sally! I really do feel lucky when we visit Dewees.
