We are home. We had a wonderful vacation on Vieques, a small island seven miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico. We rested, played in the waves and sand, and absorbed the local color. Some of my photos are here - and I hope they don't bore you.
The final little leg of our travels to the island were on a nine-seat puddle jumper. Eddie, sitting directly behind the pilot, was enthralled.During the week, we explored the two small city centers of Isabel II and Esperanza...and soaked up the tropical sites, including the wild paso fino horses who roam the island... But mostly we played on the many nearly unpopulated beaches...I hope your week was beautiful, too. I'll be back with some new posts in the next day or two Thank you so much for visiting, even while I was away.
I live in the mountains of Colorado with my husband and my eight-year-old son. Here I put anything that inspires me, from design to art to what I see outside my door. Thanks for visiting.
I'd be flattered if you'd like to use any content from this blog. Please let me know when you do, credit Postcards from Colorado, and link back to this site. Thanks so much.
